The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Peter Branson and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirkpatrick feints and then cracks Seleznyov's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Seleznyov down.
A clash of legs there as Seleznyov blocks the low kick.
Seleznyov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kirkpatrick but Kirkpatrick pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Rory Kirkpatrick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Seleznyov keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Kirkpatrick lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Kirkpatrick throws a quick inside leg kick.
An inside leg kick lands from Kirkpatrick.
Kirkpatrick definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Kirkpatrick fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Seleznyov is out of range.
Kirkpatrick misses with a leg kick.
Kirkpatrick throws a leg kick but Seleznyov sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Kirkpatrick fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Seleznyov checks it well.
Seleznyov stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kirkpatrick.
Kirkpatrick jabs Seleznyov right on the nose. Seleznyov blinks but takes it well.

Kirkpatrick walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Seleznyov checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kirkpatrick.
Kirkpatrick moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Kirkpatrick feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Seleznyov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kirkpatrick defends well.
Kirkpatrick forces his way into half guard.
Kirkpatrick has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Seleznyov is working to get back to half guard.
Kirkpatrick moves to the back.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Seleznyov won't enjoy being in this position. Kirkpatrick looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Seleznyov is tapping - it's over boys! Kirkpatrick picks up the submission victory!
