Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joe Calzaghe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rauno Repomies!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calzaghe throws a series of punches but Repomies moves out of range.
Repomies scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.


It looks like Joe Calzaghe has been cut.
Repomies throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Repomies throws a push kick but Calzaghe slaps the foot to one side.
Repomies buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Repomies throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Calzaghe tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Repomies manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nice defenses there by Calzaghe.
Repomies throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Repomies is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Calzaghe.

Calzaghe really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Repomies is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
