Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Graig Holman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and cj Joyce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joyce pushes Holman up against the cage in a clinch.
A bit of stalling here from Holman.
Joyce manages to break the clinch.
Holman looks for a takedown but Joyce sprawls well.
Joyce pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Joyce moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Holman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Joyce but Joyce pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Joyce misses with a double jab
and Holman counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Joyce throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Holman on the side of the head.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Joyce is defended easily by Holman.
A solid leg kick lands there for Holman.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Joyce misses with a takedown attempt
and Holman counters with a stiff right hand.
Joyce forces Holman back against the cage and clinches.
Holman is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Joyce pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Graig Holman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Joyce prevents Holman from breaking the clinch.
Holman can't break the clinch.
Joyce's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Holman pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Joyce gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Joyce is looking to control Holman's arms but Holman gets an underhook and turns him. Now Joyce has his back to the cage.
Holman breaks from the clinch.

Joyce throws a right and a left that both miss.
Joyce doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Holman counters with a head kick.
Joyce looking to score a takedown here. Holman is defending well but Joyce drives through and ends up in Holman's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Joyce engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Holman not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Holman pulls Joyce in close to prevent any damage.
Holman had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Joyce defends it easily.
Joyce is in close to Holman's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Joyce won't allow Holman to sweep him here.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Holman is on top in guard.
Joyce really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Holman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Joyce trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Holman is breathing heavily.
Joyce looking to hit a scissor sweep but Holman is one step ahead there.
Joyce looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Holman passes into half guard.

Holman is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Joyce tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Holman manages to move to mount!
Holman thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but cj Joyce will probably get the nod.

Joyce scores with a takedown into Holman's guard.
Joyce trying to control but Holman is working from the bottom.
Joyce stays in close to Holman's body and controls the position.
Holman looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Joyce passes easily into side control. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Holman takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Holman manages to get back to half guard.
Holman slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Joyce wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Holman's closed guard. He's half up but Holman has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Holman pivots and extends the arm, Joyce falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Holman! Well done that man!
