Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Elric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burns's entrance music is Rock Master Scott & The Dynamic Three - The Roof Is On Fire. A fine choice. Elric has chosen Lil Wayne - Rolling In The Deep (Sorry 4 The Wait) as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Burns misses its intended target.
Burns avoids a punch combination nicely.
Elric scores with a nice head shot.
Elric misses with a double jab.
Elric takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Elric loads up on a big right hand but Burns slips the punch.
Burns misses with an uppercut. Elric saw that one coming.

Burns seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Elric buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Elric leaves Burns with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Burns shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Elric's guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Elric holds on and takes a little breather.
Burns postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Elric is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Burns, into his guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Elric stalling away here and it's allowed Burns to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Elric seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Burns scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Burns throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Elric on the side of the head.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Elric.

Elric fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Burns has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Burns takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

That was a close second round but I would say that Brian Burns will probably get the nod.

Elric throws a right hand that Burns ducks under and follows up with a left that Burns also avoids with ease.
