Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yusuke Yurameshi!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yurameshi tries to clinch but Dodson moves out of range.
Dodson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yurameshi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A close round but Yusuke Yurameshi will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Dodson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Dodson controls the position.
Dodson has hold of Yurameshi's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Yurameshi tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Dodson cranks the arm and Yurameshi screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Yurameshi, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). John Dodson!
A determined John Dodson didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
