Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ezequiel Sellers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ross has chosen Boom as his entrance music. Ezequiel Sellers has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ezequiel Sellers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rick Ross! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ross drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Ross wants to control but Sellers is keeping him busy. Ross lands a nice forearm strike. Sellers could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Ross controls the position from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sellers is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Ross asserts his dominance and retains side control. Ross tries to move to mount but Sellers blocks the move with his legs. Ross controlling the position. Sellers tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sellers struggling a bit here. Sellers wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Ross is looking to take a break and control but Sellers is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Sellers can't do much from the bottom here.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Ross manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sellers on his heels. He'll look to pass Sellers's guard now, I'm sure. Ross is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Ross must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Sellers is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ross is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ross stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sellers swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sellers is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Sellers will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Ross trying to control the position from guard on top but Sellers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Rick Ross. Ross drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ross is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Sellers's shoulder. That is not cool. Ross is looking to take a break and control but Sellers is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Sellers is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Ross has just dragged him back down to the mat. Sellers is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ross controls the position from side control. Sellers sneaks out the side door and pushes Ross away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Sellers fails with the takedown. Ross closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sellers's guard. Ross lands a couple of digs. Sellers can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ross controls the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Rick Ross hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Ross decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Ross not doing much here.
It looks like Ross might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rick Ross dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Ross drives through with a takedown into guard. Ross slips nicely into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sellers is trying to stand.
Sellers tries to roll over but Ross keeps him under control. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Ross sitting in guard, not really doing much. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Ross really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sellers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Rick Ross wasn't active enough on the ground. Ross throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sellers was covering up waiting for the punch and Ross finishes the takedown easily into guard. Sellers manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ross manages to get himself to full guard.
Sellers with a flurry of punches that miss. Ross looking for a sweep. Not yet Ross, not yet. Sellers wanted to stand there but Ross had control of the position. Ross wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Rick Ross was stalling too much, according to the referee. Ross shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ross showed some decent athleticism there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ross tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sellers knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Ross controlling the action here. Ross prevents Sellers from standing back up.
Ross wants to pass the guard but Sellers is defending well.

Ross takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Ross controlling the action here. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Rick Ross showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Ross closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Sellers tries to escape but Ross is in control. Sellers being controlled for a moment. Sellers stops Ross from passing to mount. Ross controlling the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Sellers is looking to control Ross's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sellers avoid being mounted? Rick Ross is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Ross has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sellers is trying to improve his position. Ross is staying tight to Sellers's torso, preventing him from escaping. Sellers is looking for a sweep. Ross in side control, just content to control the action for now. Let's hope that Ross has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Sellers looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. A lull in the action here. Sellers prevents Ross from improving position. Sellers wants to get back to his feet but Ross drags him back down. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. You can see the frustration on Sellers's face as Ross controls the position. Ezequiel Sellers has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
And that's the end of the fight! Rick Ross comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ross has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
