Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raphael Bowie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Master Enki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bowie comes to the cage accompanied by 300 Violin Orchestra - Jorge Quintero. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Raphael Bowie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Master Enki! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Enki scores with a decent looking hook. Bowie moves out of range of the strikes. Enki scores with a jab to the body. Enki has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bowie is landing a low percentage of strikes. Enki scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Enki connects with a right hand. Bowie shakes it off. Bowie checks a low kick from Enki. Enki scoring well with a low kick there.
Enki throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Enki wants to land a leg kick but Bowie is out of range. Enki scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
That's one minute gone in the round. Enki wants to slow Bowie down by chopping away at his legs. Enki throws a hook to the side of Bowie's head but Bowie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Enki throws a leg kick but Bowie sees it coming and checks it nicely. We've been hearing reports that Bowie has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Enki throws a lazy right hand but Bowie sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Enki throws out a powerful jab. Enki digs a good body shot into Bowie's ribs. A big left from Enki misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Enki feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Bowie's calf. Bowie checks the leg kick. Bowie takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Enki lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Enki wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Master Enki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Enki misses with a wild combination.
Master Enki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Enki fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Enki scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bowie doesn't seem bothered though. Enki is looking to score with low kicks. Enki throws a hook but Bowie blocks it. Bowie steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Enki. Enki moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Enki misses with a right hand and Bowie counters with a nice double leg into side control. Enki won't be happy with that. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. This has been an exciting period of action! Bowie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Enki has escaped the position, nice work there. Bowie working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Enki is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bowie is controlling him well. Enki bucks up and tries to throw Bowie off but instead Bowie has got his back! Enki tries to escape but he's let his defenses down in doing so and Bowie has slipped in the rear naked choke! Oh, that's tiiiiiiiiight! Enki is tapping! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
