Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamie copperfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Gregory (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gregory is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dropkick Murpheys - I'm shipping up to Boston. Josh Gregory is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gregory looks for a takedown but copperfield sprawls well.

copperfield stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gregory swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Gregory has eaten all the pies!
copperfield postures up in Gregory's guard and throws a big left but Gregory blocks it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

copperfield wants to get up but he can't break Gregory's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

copperfield is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gregory is pulling down on copperfield's head. It's preventing any offense from copperfield, at least for the moment.
copperfield has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
copperfield drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. copperfield seems to have locked his on tight now - Gregory screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for copperfield, as he picks up the win!
