Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dean Rollin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kris Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dean Rollin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dean Rollin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kris Gunn! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rollin staying out of range there. Gunn closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rollin to the mat! Rollin manages to get full guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Rollin pulls Gunn in close to prevent any damage. Gunn showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rollin pushes Gunn off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Gunn shoots for a takedown but Rollin saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Rollin darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Rollin sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Gunn defending well though. Gunn is looking for a sweep. Rollin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rollin is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rollin thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Gunn regains full guard. Nicely done. Gunn is adopting a defensive guard. Rollin looking to pass the guard. Gunn controls Rollin momentarily but Rollin frees himself. Rollin won't allow Gunn to sweep him here. Rollin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gunn swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gunn is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Rollin has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Rollin scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Gunn can't do much from the bottom here. Gunn keeping his opponent close. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gunn tries to bench press Rollin off him but Rollin keeps the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gunn struggling a bit here. Gunn is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Rollin is trying to control. Gunn wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Gunn is trying to maintain the position but Rollin is very close to passing his half guard. Rollin stalling.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Rollin scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Gunn is trying to maintain the position but Rollin is very close to passing his half guard. Gunn keeps control of the position for the meantime. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Gunn shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rollin is refusing to be controlled, as Gunn sits in half guard. Gunn looks winded! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gunn has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rollin stands up and waves to Gunn to follow him. Gunn gets caught napping as Rollin dives in and scores a takedown. Gunn manages to retain guard. Rollin wants to control from the top but Gunn keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gunn is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Dean Rollin. Excellent takedown into side control there by Rollin. Gunn is looking to regain half guard here but Rollin keeps moving and retains side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rollin decides to stand up, so the ref orders Gunn to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gunn tries to clinch up and Rollin counters with a series of strikes. Gunn will be more careful next time no doubt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gunn pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Dean Rollin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gunn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rollin's waist but Rollin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gunn off to one side. Rollin closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Gunn's guard. Rollin postures up.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Kris Gunn hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Gunn fails with a takedown attempt. Rollin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gunn, pushing him back against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gunn wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rollin has him pressed against the cage. Gunn can't break the clinch.
Rollin is pressed up against the cage. Gunn has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rollin down to the mat. Rollin avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Dean Rollin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kris Gunn. Rollin lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Gunn at a distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rollin jabs at Gunn's body. Rollin tries a low kick but Gunn avoids it. Gunn blocks a leg kick. Rollin closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rollin prevents the takedown attempt.

Dean Rollin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kris Gunn. Gunn takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Gunn jumps guard but Rollin turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Rollin with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Rollin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Rollin misses with a low kick.

Rollin scores with a takedown into Gunn's guard. Gunn is pulling down on Rollin's head. It's preventing any offense from Rollin, at least for the moment. Rollin looking to pass the guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Dean Rollin wasn't doing enough on the ground. Gunn shoots in but no luck this time. Rollin gets in close and instigates a clinch. Rollin working hard to break the clinch. Gunn is fighting off a takedown attempt but Rollin is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Gunn to the mat. Gunn regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Gunn not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Kris Gunn has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Gunn dives in for a single leg takedown but Rollin sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Rollin is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Gunn can't fight it off and eventually Rollin manages to take the fight to the floor. Gunn looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Rollin looking to pass the guard. Rollin is looking to work some ground and pound but Gunn has wrist control.

Gunn wants to hit a switch here but Rollin passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Gunn there! Rollin looking to control and managing it successfully. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gunn sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Dean Rollin showed his dominance in that final round. Well Rollin has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
