Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benjamin jabs Hodges right on the nose. Hodges blinks but takes it well.
Benjamin stuffs the takedown.
Hodges closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Benjamin scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Benjamin lands with an uppercut that bounces Hodges off the cage and back into range.

Byron Benjamin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Hodges.
Benjamin moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Byron Benjamin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hodges has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Benjamin finds it's way round the side to connect with Hodges's head.

Hodges moves out of range as Benjamin throws a body kick.
Benjamin connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hodges. Hodges circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Hodges goes for a double leg but Benjamin avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Benjamin continues to drive forward.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Benjamin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hodges walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Benjamin lands with a kick to the ribs.
Benjamin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hodges looks winded!
Benjamin throws a nice inside leg kick.
Benjamin bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Benjamin connects with a stiff jab that staggers Hodges - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
