Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jack McDaniels!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Peter Branson and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ojoos throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McDaniels lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ojoos at a distance.
McDaniels fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ojoos manages to avoid it.
McDaniels avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
No joy there for Ojoos, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McDaniels lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Ojoos's hands are dropping dangerously low here and McDaniels connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ojoos scrambles back to his feet.
McDaniels scores with a punch to the head.
The crowd cheers as Ojoos lands an impressive looking overhand right. McDaniels doesn't seem phased though.
McDaniels keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McDaniels lands a glancing blow to the side of Ojoos's head.
McDaniels catches Ojoos with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Ojoos throws a right hand that McDaniels ducks under and follows up with a left that McDaniels also avoids with ease.

McDaniels is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Ojoos had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

McDaniels slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ojoos. McDaniels does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ojoos looks to score with a jab to the body but McDaniels is just out of range.
Ojoos throws a good cross that connects.

Kangi Ojoos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ojoos takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Ojoos throws a wild hook but McDaniels just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Ojoos gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - McDaniels raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
