The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Korzeniowski clinches.

Winshire blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Winshire is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Korzeniowski gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Korzeniowski is trying to trip Winshire. He has hold of a leg but Winshire is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Korzeniowski persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Marcin Korzeniowski has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Winshire closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Korzeniowski's guard.
Winshire has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Korzeniowski escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Winshire gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Korzeniowski is looking for a triangle here but Winshire uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Winshire connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Korzeniowski some visible discomfort.

Korzeniowski seems to have recovered his senses.
