Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Daiki Aomine!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Peter Branson and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aomine shoots for a takedown but Johnson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Johnson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Johnson looks to land a combination. Aomine sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Johnson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Aomine throws a front kick that sends Johnson stumbling back into the cage.
Johnson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Aomine darts in looking for a takedown but Johnson gets double underhooks and turns Aomine into the cage.

Johnson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Johnson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Aomine shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Johnson sprawls well. Johnson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Aomine gets slowly back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Johnson swats away the attempt to clinch by Aomine.

Johnson stalks Aomine and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Aomine's face. Aomine staggers backwards, shaken.

Aomine takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Aomine escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Johnson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Johnson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Johnson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aomine swivels though and keeps the full guard.
