Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vatroslav Vusak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xylen Kharell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Vatroslav Vusak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Xylen Kharell! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vusak throws a head kick but Kharell moves out of range.
Kharell closes the distance and clinches. Kharell lands a damaging elbow. Kharell has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Vusak is trying to keep an underhook but Kharell manages to get the takedown into half guard. Kharell seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Vusak has recovered full guard. Kharell avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kharell gets to his feet. Vusak looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Vusak tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kharell swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kharell pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Vusak shoots in and drives through. Kharell sprawls well. Vusak tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kharell defends well and Vusak ends up having to push Kharell into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vusak swings wildly with an uppercut but Kharell uses good head movement to avoid it. Kharell stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Kharell has clasped his hands together around Vusak's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. A lull in the action here as Kharell stalls from top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kharell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vusak keeps working. Vusak can't do much from the bottom here. Kharell is looking to take a break and control but Vusak is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kharell decides to stand up, so the ref orders Vusak to his feet. Vusak has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vatroslav Vusak. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vusak gets caught napping as Kharell dives in and scores a takedown. Vusak manages to retain guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Vusak bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kharell's guard. Vusak trying to control but Kharell is working from the bottom. Vusak could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Vusak preventing the sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vusak tries to free his leg and advance position but Kharell is retaining full guard. Kharell lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Vusak! Vusak wants to control but Kharell is having none of it. Vusak might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kharell takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kharell's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Xylen Kharell was stalling too much, according to the referee. Vusak tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kharell paws at him with a jab and circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Xylen Kharell dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Vusak gets off balance looking for a body kick and Kharell decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Vusak's guard. Vusak working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Kharell has passed into half guard!
Kharell decides to return to a standing position. Kharell has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kharell is pressed up against the cage. Vusak has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kharell down to the mat. Kharell avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Kharell blocks a head kick by Vusak.
Kharell scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kharell throws a strike aimed at the side of Vusak's head but Vusak avoids it well. Kharell trying to control the position but Vusak is working away. Kharell decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vusak fails with a takedown attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kharell shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Kharell postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Vusak is looking to sweep but instead, Kharell has passed into half guard.
Kharell wants to pass to mount but Vusak is defending the position. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vusak is trying to stand.
Kharell controlling the action here. Vusak is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Kharell thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Vusak's head. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Kharell with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Xylen Kharell has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Kharell misses with a series of wild punches.
Kharell lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vusak circles away quickly and effectively.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kharell decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Kharell decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Vusak shoots in but Kharell avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vatroslav Vusak. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vusak fails in his attempt to clinch. Kharell looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Kharell showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Vusak working for a triangle but Kharell defends it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kharell is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Kharell passes Vusak's left leg - he's now in half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Vusak is in trouble now - Kharell has advanced to mount! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kharell looking to control and managing it successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Xylen Kharell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Vusak misses with a body kick. Kharell keeps the fight on the outside. Kharell throws a nice inside leg kick. Kharell looking to score a takedown here. Vusak is defending well but Kharell drives through and ends up in Vusak's guard. Kharell throws a big elbow that misses. Kharell wants to control from the top but Vusak keeps moving. Vusak trying to keep a closed guard but Kharell is proving a slippery customer.
Vusak wants to control but Kharell passes easily into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kharell is thwarting Vusak's attempts to control the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kharell prevents Vusak from improving his position. Kharell stands up out of the half guard. Kharell circles away from the clinch attempt and Kharell counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Vusak will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kharell rushes Vusak and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kharell tightens his grip and picks Vusak up, before dumping him to the ground. Vusak manages to land in guard. Kharell postures up.
Kharell advances position into side control! Kharell controlling from side mount. Let's hope that Kharell has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kharell trying to control the position but Vusak is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kharell is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Vusak's shoulder. That is not cool. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Xylen Kharell. Vusak shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kharell but Kharell pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kharell swinging wildly here.
Vusak moves to clinch but Kharell breaks away and Kharell counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Vatroslav Vusak is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Vusak throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Kharell moves into range and clinches up with Vusak.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kharell breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Vusak fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kharell avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vatroslav Vusak. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kharell keeps the fight on the outside. Kharell closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Vusak quickly recovers to half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

And that's the end of the fight! Xylen Kharell comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kharell has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
