1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jet Lie! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lie lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Buflienko circles away quickly and effectively. Lie circles away from the clinch attempt.
Buflienko fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lie manages to avoid it. Buflienko misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lie avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lie connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Lie darts in and clinches Buflienko up against the cage. Buflienko wants to break free but Lie has control.

and Lie counters with a nice uppercut. Buflienko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Buflienko throws a combination that misses and Lie counters by clinching up. Buflienko on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lie throws an elbow but it misses.

Buflienko wants to stand but Lie is controlling the position. Lie chips away with some ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lie accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Lie is working Buflienko over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Lie immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Buflienko is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Lie!
