The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buttersnaps lands a nice hook to Ballswick's body. Ballswick takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Buttersnaps dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ballswick. That did some damage!
Ballswick shoots for a takedown but Buttersnaps saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ballswick slips a straight right by Buttersnaps.

Ballswick connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Buttersnaps throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ballswick felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
