Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Xavier Potterswheel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kj Barakus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quinton Xavier Potterswheel has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Quinton Xavier Potterswheel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kj Barakus! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Potterswheel with that takedown attempt. Barakus defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Potterswheel. Potterswheel tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Barakus swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Quinton Xavier Potterswheel. That's going to take a lot out of him. Potterswheel with a lazy takedown attempt and Barakus counters with a leg kick. Potterswheel shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Barakus counters with an inside leg kick. Barakus drives through with a takedown into guard. Barakus would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Barakus passes easily into side control. Nice work. Barakus trying to control the action but Potterswheel is working from the bottom. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Potterswheel tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Barakus wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Barakus is working to tighten his grip on Potterswheel's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Potterswheel has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Barakus is really squeezing tight and eventually Potterswheel passes out! Barakus breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Kj Barakus! A determined Kj Barakus didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
