Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hanzo Hasashi !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kabal Labak!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Labak fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hasashi to the ground. Labak is now in Hasashi 's guard.
Hasashi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Labak wants to pass the guard but Hasashi is keeping the position.
Labak slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Hasashi is trying to get back to half guard.
Hasashi is not content to let Labak control the position.
Hasashi 's coaches at Cell Block Six have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Labak thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Labak tries to advance to mount but Hasashi denies him.

Labak tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Labak tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Labak has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Labak is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hasashi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Labak tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Labak looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Labak wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hasashi , who protects the arm well.

Labak tries for a kimura but Hasashi is defending well.
Hasashi is trying to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Labak goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Hasashi rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Labak's guard! Nice work there by Hasashi !
Labak is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Hasashi wants to pass the guard but Labak is keeping the position.

Labak looking for a triangle here. Hasashi is fighting it but it looks tight! Labak pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Hasashi is tapping out - this one is all over!
