Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chinchin Chin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Canadian Hero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chin comes to the cage accompanied by Guts! Guts! - Akira Kushida. Canadian Hero has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chinchin Chin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Canadian Hero! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hero throws out the jab. Hero moves out of range of the leg kick from Chin. Hero looks to throw a body kick and Chin counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Chin. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Chin won't allow Hero to sweep him here. Chin sitting in guard, not really doing much. Chin throws a big right hand that misses. Chin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hero swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hero avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Chin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hero seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. We've been hearing that Chin has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Chin working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Chin looking to pass the guard. Hero looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chin is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hero trying to control the position here. Chin throws an elbow that misses. Hero uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Chin's guard. Nice move by Hero! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chin looking for a sweep. Not yet Chin, not yet. Hero trying to control the position from guard on top but Chin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Chin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hero defends well. Hero throwing strikes but missing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Chin wants to sweep but no luck. Chin manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Hero is trying to escape the mount.
Chin lands a nice shot to the head. Hero wants to control but Chin is having none of it. Hero is trying to escape the mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hero tries to lock up and control but Chin gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chin in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
It looks like Canadian Hero has been cut. Chin thowing shots but they're missing. Chin looking to ground and pound but Hero is blocking nicely. Hero is looking to improve his position but Chin isn't that keen on the idea. Chin dominating with strikes here. The referee warns Hero that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Hero is trying to escape the mount.
Chin landing strikes, looking to finish! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hero taking shots to the head.
Hero is rocked! Chin postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Hero in real trouble here! The ref calls for Hero to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chinchin Chin! Chinchin Chin seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
