Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Monte Hobbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calvin Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hobbs defends well and Davis ends up having to push Hobbs into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Hobbs can't get the takedown.
Hobbs drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hobbs wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Davis has him pressed against the cage.
Davis tries to break the clinch but Hobbs is controlling the position.

Davis has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hobbs is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Hobbs drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hobbs jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Davis has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hobbs is working away from the top position though.

Well Davis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
