Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nanaki Yotomishi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gimme Money (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Money is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Money for Nothing. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Nanaki Yotomishi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gimme Money! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Money throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Money scores with a one two! Yotomishi had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. A big left from Money misses. Yotomishi tries to clinch up. Yotomishi tries to clinch but Money moves out of range. Yotomishi fails to land the takedown. Yotomishi throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Money throws a leg kick but Yotomishi checks it. Yotomishi swinging wildly here.
Money swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Money throws a hook to the side of Yotomishi's head but Yotomishi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Yotomishi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Money paws at him with a jab and circles away. Horrible takedown by Money or perhaps it was just good defense by Yotomishi which made him look bad. Money dives in for a single leg takedown but Yotomishi sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Yotomishi taking a breather.
That's one minute gone in the round. A knee to the head by Money.
Yotomishi manages to pull guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Money would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Money got a little sloppy there for a moment and Yotomishi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Money has managed to get both his arms back between Yotomishi's legs - danger averted. Yotomishi is looking for a triangle but Money pushes his legs off easily.
Yotomishi has his foot on Money's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Money works his way back into a safe position though. Yotomishi looking for a guillotine here but Money defends easily.
Money trying to control but Yotomishi is working from the bottom. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Yotomishi preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Money controlling from the top position. Money wants to control from the top but Yotomishi keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Gimme Money was stalling too much, according to the referee. Yotomishi looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Money! Money wants to control but Yotomishi postures up. Money is trying to buck Yotomishi off. Money is looking for a sweep. Yotomishi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Money is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Yotomishi wants to control but Money is keeping him busy. Yotomishi is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Money is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Yotomishi tries to advance to mount but Money denies him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yotomishi is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Money knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Money is not content to let Yotomishi control the position. Money is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Yotomishi has just dragged him back down to the mat. Money tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Money is wriggling around trying to escape.
Money wants to try and get back to his feet. Money is looking to get to half guard. Yotomishi misses with a head shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yotomishi fails to take his opponent's back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yotomishi wants to control the pace but Money is squirming around nicely. Money is looking to get to half guard. Money is controlling an arm, preventing Yotomishi from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Money tries to get back to half guard but can't. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Yotomishi is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Money is surviving well by controlling Yotomishi's body position as best he can. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Yotomishi trying to control but Money is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nanaki Yotomishi dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Money lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Money cracks Yotomishi with a good jab. Yotomishi tries to clinch up. Nanaki Yotomishi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Money clobbers Yotomishi with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Money clinches. Yotomishi misses with a body punch.
Money breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Money has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Yotomishi slips a jab from Money. Money swats away the attempt to clinch by Yotomishi. Money loads up on a big right hand but Yotomishi slips the punch. Gimme Money seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Yotomishi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Money moves in looking to clinch but Yotomishi pushes him off. Money misses with an uppercut. Yotomishi saw that one coming. Yotomishi tries to close the distance and clinch but Money swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Money fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Yotomishi on the side of the head. This has been an exciting period of action! Yotomishi will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yotomishi tries to clinch up but Money circles away and keeps his distance. Money missing with a left hand there. Yotomishi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Nice uppercut lands for Money. That snapped Yotomishi's head back.

Money tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Yotomishi defends well and Money ends up having to push Yotomishi into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Money tries to break free but Yotomishi pushes him back against the cage. Money tries to land a knee to the head but Yotomishi blocks with his arms.

Yotomishi is looking to control Money's arms but Money gets an underhook and turns him. Now Yotomishi has his back to the cage. Money misses with a knee strike.

Money has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Yotomishi avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Yotomishi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Money gets the underhooks and prevents it.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Nanaki Yotomishi. Yotomishi tries to clinch but Money is having none of it. Yotomishi is looking to clinch but Money is avoiding it.
Yotomishi throws a right and a left that Money avoids nicely. This has been an exciting period of action! Money throws a hook but Yotomishi blocks it. Yotomishi lands a jab-cross combination. Money throws a lazy right hand but Yotomishi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Yotomishi tries a head kick but it misses.

Yotomishi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Yotomishi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yotomishi advances to half guard. Money wants to get back to his feet. Yotomishi is pressing down on Money's thigh, looking to free his foot. Money is holding on for now. Yotomishi stops Money from getting back to his feet.
Yotomishi is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Money doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Yotomishi. Money won't allow Yotomishi to pass to mount. Nanaki Yotomishi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Money tries to kick Yotomishi off in order to stand up. Yotomishi Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Yotomishi wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Money, who protects the arm well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yotomishi wants to control but Money is keeping him busy. Money gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Yotomishi seems to be working for a kimura but Money defends the submission attempt. Money is looking to escape. Yotomishi is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Yotomishi wants to pass the guard but Money is defending well. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Yotomishi seems to be working for a kimura but Money defends the submission attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Nanaki Yotomishi will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Money throws out a powerful jab. Money drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Money drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Money jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Yotomishi manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Money wants to hold on but Yotomishi pushes him away. Yotomishi is looking to work his way around to Money's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. Yotomishi jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Money is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Money and Yotomishi has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Yotomishi is looking to take a break and control but Money is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Yotomishi working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Money gets back to half guard. Money wants to improve his position but Yotomishi is controlling well.

Money looking for submissions off his back. Yotomishi trying to mount his opponent but Money defends it. Yotomishi is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Yotomishi is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Money has managed to free his arm - good work. Money trying to control from the bottom.
Yotomishi prevents Money from standing back up.
Money won't allow Yotomishi to pass to mount. Yotomishi wants to take a breather but Money is having none of it. Yotomishi is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Money is just riding it out for now. Yotomishi eventually gives up the hold. Money is pressing down on Yotomishi's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Gimme Money has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Yotomishi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Money swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Money keeping moving, preventing Yotomishi from controlling successfully. Money escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Yotomishi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Money is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Yotomishi drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Money manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Yotomishi has Money in his guard. Yotomishi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Money doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Money manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Nanaki Yotomishi is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yotomishi utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Money trying to control but Yotomishi is working from the bottom. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Money trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Money sitting in guard here, content to control. Yotomishi keeping moving, preventing Money from controlling successfully. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Yotomishi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Well, if Yotomishi is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Yotomishi wants to free his trapped foot but Money is holding on for dear life with his legs.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Gimme Money. I think Yotomishi has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
