Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kyle Demarce!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, David Bromholm!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demarce throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bromholm's waist but Bromholm gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Demarce off to one side.
Bromholm shoots and misses
and Demarce counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bromholm's guard now.
Demarce trying to control the position from guard on top but Bromholm is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bromholm wants to stand but Demarce is controlling the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Demarce has his foot on Bromholm's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bromholm works his way back into a safe position though.

Bromholm wants to control from the top but Demarce keeps moving.

Demarce escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bromholm gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Bromholm drops back, looking for a kneebar! Demarce looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Demarce looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Demarce!

Demarce decides to stand back up.

Bromholm shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Demarce as he avoids it easily.

Demarce closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Demarce lands in his opponent's guard.

Bromholm changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Demarce tries to avoid it but Bromholm manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Demarce to the ground. Demarce escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
