Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Backstrom lands a nice leg kick that just misses Boldyrev's sensitive parts.
Some wild striking there from Boldyrev.
Backstrom throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Boldyrev tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Backstrom is in Boldyrev's guard.
Backstrom keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Boldyrev's head.
Backstrom content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Backstrom will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Boldyrev can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Backstrom controls the pace.
Backstrom stands up and waves to Boldyrev to follow him.

Backstrom gets the takedown into side control.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Boldyrev has eaten all the pies!
Boldyrev tries to buck Backstrom off but Backstrom is having none of it.
Backstrom stands up.
Backstrom misses with a double jab.

Backstrom decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Backstrom moves nicely into side control.
Backstrom moves into full mount!
Boldyrev looks winded!
Backstrom tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Backstrom lands with some strikes.
Backstrom pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Boldyrev is bucking up trying to escape but Backstrom cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Backstrom controlling the position easily from mount.
Backstrom breaks from Boldyrev's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Backstrom has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Boldyrev's face.
It looks like Artem Boldyrev has been cut.
Backstrom scoring with strikes but Boldyrev is staying in there.

Backstrom has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Boldyrev is forced to tap!
