Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frenk Karleon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Casey Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Santiago Holmes and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karleon avoids a punch combination nicely.
Left hook, right uppercut from Penn.
Penn shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Karleon eats them both and turns towards Penn to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
A right-left combo lands from Karleon.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
A combination from Penn does no damage.
Penn slips under a jab from Karleon.
Penn moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Penn throws a series of punches but Karleon moves out of range.
Frenk Karleon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Karleon is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Penn.
Karleon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Karleon misses with a wild body shot.
Karleon lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Karleon throws the left hand but Penn avoids the punch easily.
Frenk Karleon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Karleon throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Penn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
No joy there for Karleon, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sloppy strikes from Karleon. Those never looked like landing.

Penn connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Penn throws a low kick but Karleon moves out of range easily.
Karleon bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Penn's head.
Karleon fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Penn on the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Penn counters with a takedown into side control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Karleon prevents Penn from moving into mount.
Penn wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Karleon, who protects the arm well.

Penn prevents Karleon from escaping the position.
Karleon is looking to regain half guard here but Penn keeps moving and retains side control.
Karleon tries to escape but Penn is in control.
Karleon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Penn on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Karleon is keeping busy.

Karleon is trying to defend against the choke here but Penn has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Penn Tightens the hold and Karleon taps out furiously! Penn displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
