Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Matt Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karnak Mandazur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller comes to the cage accompanied by Johnny Cash - Hurt. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
35 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Matt Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
33 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Karnak Mandazur! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller wants to slow Mandazur down by chopping away at his legs. Miller on the wrong end of a nice hook. Miller swings for the body but Mandazur moves out of range.
Miller lands with a nice body punch. Mandazur uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Miller. Mandazur throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Excellent takedown into side control there by Miller. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Mandazur parries the strikes from Miller easily there. Miller is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Mandazur to escape.

Miller in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Mandazur wants to control but Miller postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mandazur dodges the ground and pound from Miller. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mandazur sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Miller seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mandazur does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mandazur avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Miller. Miller frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Mandazur gets back to half guard. Mandazur avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Miller. Miller lands with a punch from half guard. Mandazur is looking to control Miller's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mandazur avoid being mounted? The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Miller lands a nice short elbow. Mandazur is refusing to be controlled, as Miller sits in half guard. Miller thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Miller trying to control the action but Mandazur is working from the bottom. Miller has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. We've been hearing that Miller has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mandazur blocking the ground and pound attempt from Miller. Mandazur is not content to let Miller control the position. Miller sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Mandazur defending well though. Miller not doing much here.
Miller thows a huge punch but Mandazur dodges it nicely.
Mandazur gets full guard. Mandazur has momentary wrist control but Miller slips an elbow through the middle. Mandazur controls Miller momentarily but Miller frees himself. Mandazur looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Miller postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mandazur keeping full guard, as Miller tries to pass. Miller makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Mandazur is controlling Miller's posture. Miller tries to free his leg and advance position but Mandazur is retaining full guard. Miller scoring with punches to the head and body. Mandazur pulls Miller in close to prevent any damage.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Karnak Mandazur. Miller misses with a body shot.
Miller connects with a solid leg kick. Mandazur moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Miller circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A low kick from Miller is predictable there and Mandazur counters with an inside leg kick. Mandazur displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Miller throws out the jab. Mandazur throws a low kick, looking for Miller's leg but Miller calmly moves out of range. Mandazur changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Miller ducks under a wild hook from Mandazur. Mandazur throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Miller stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Mandazur pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Miller shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mandazur as he avoids it easily. Mandazur throws a leg kick which misses Miller's front leg but catches the back leg as Miller tries to avoid it. Miller throws a jab but it's blocked by Mandazur. Miller misses with an uppercut. Mandazur saw that one coming. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! The crowd cheers as Mandazur lands an impressive looking overhand right. Miller doesn't seem phased though. Karnak Mandazur is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mandazur avoids the body shot from Miller.
Mandazur throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Mandazur is looking to score with low kicks. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matt Miller dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mandazur is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Miller's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mandazur connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Miller scrambles back to his feet. Mandazur swings widly with a right hand
and Miller counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Miller. Miller missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Mandazur keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully. Miller with a flurry of punches that miss. Miller looking to pass the guard. Mandazur trying to keep a closed guard but Miller is proving a slippery customer.
Miller wants to control from the top but Mandazur keeps moving. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mandazur has Miller pulled in close to control his posture.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A slow jab from Miller misses its intended target. Miller is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Mandazur throws out a loose jab but Miller uses good head movement to avoid it. Miller thuds a left hand into Mandazur's body. Mandazur with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Mandazur throws a sloppy head kick and Miller moves out of range easily. Miller throws a nice inside leg kick. Miller blocks the body kick.
Miller lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Mandazur scoring well with a low kick there.
Mandazur tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Miller was well out of range. Poor timing from Mandazur. Miller scores with a crisp jab that stopped Mandazur in his tracks.

Miller tries for a takedown but Mandazur sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Mandazur throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Miller takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Miller cracks Mandazur with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Miller checks a low kick from Mandazur. Mandazur misses with a wild body shot. Miller walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Mandazur checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Karnak Mandazur seems to be getting the better of the standup. Mandazur shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Mandazur digs a good hook to Miller's body.
Miller takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Mandazur tried to score with a low kick but Miller checks it. Mandazur takes a shot right to the bread basket. Miller takes one on the chin but seems OK.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mandazur drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Mandazur looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Mandazur bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Mandazur has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Miller lands a head shot. Mandazur thows a left - swing and a miss! Mandazur tries to close the distance and clinch but Miller swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Mandazur steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Miller. Miller scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Miller works the jab nicely. Mandazur has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Miller throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Miller was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Miller bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Matt Miller will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Miller throws a lazy right hand but Mandazur sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Miller feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mandazurs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Good work by Miller as he checks the leg kick. Miller takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Miller lands a head shot. Mandazur throws a left and a right that both miss

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Miller scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Mandazur to see if he's OK. Miller wants to control but Mandazur is keeping him busy. Miller in side control lands a decent elbow. Miller trying to control the action but Mandazur is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller working the strikes but Mandazur uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Miller slips a nice elbow through Mandazur's hands, connecting with Mandazur's forehead. Mandazur makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mandazur. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Miller accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Miller trying to control the position from guard on top but Mandazur is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Miller postures up.
Miller throws a big right hand that misses. Mandazur wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Miller scoring with punches to the head and body.
Mandazur is rocked! Miller content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Mandazur is still in real trouble! Can Miller finish him? Hammerfist, elbow! yells Miller's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Mandazur trying to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Miller gets to his feet and stands over Mandazur, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Mandazur felt that one! Miller unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Mandazur from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matt Miller! Matt Miller seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website. The defeated Karnak Mandazur had this to say: 'I so cannot wait until CTD gets nerfed.'.
