Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kharell moves in looking to clinch but Silva pushes him off.
Kharell is looking to clinch.
Silva on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Kharell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kharell fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Silva to the ground. Kharell is now in Silva's guard.
Kharell wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.
Kharell trying to stand up but can't free himself from Silva's guard.
Silva has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kharell is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Silva.
Silva is trying to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Kharell has just dragged him back down to the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kharell's best efforts.
Silva has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kharell is working away from the top position though.
Silva tries to roll over but Kharell keeps him under control.
Silva works his way to full guard. Good work.
Silva working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kharell doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Silva is tightening it up a little... Kharell has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kharell reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kharell taps out! Nice BJJ there by Silva!
