Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Killa P (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robinson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rage against the machine- Killing in the name kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Sam Robinson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
P fails in his attempt to clinch.
P shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Robinson as he avoids it easily.
P tries to clinch but Robinson is having none of it.
P misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Robinson throws a leg kick but P moved away.
P takes the fight into the clinch.
Robinson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
No luck for P with that takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown by P or perhaps it was just good defense by Robinson which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Killa P. That's going to take a lot out of him.
P closes this distance looking for a takedown but Robinson circles away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
P throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Robinson's waist but Robinson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing P off to one side.

P looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Robinson is fending him off so far but P persists. Nope, Robinson circles away and we're back to standing.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Robinson.
Robinson throws a right and a left that P avoids nicely.
Robinson scores with a one two! P had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Robinson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control P kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Robinson connects with a crisp jab.
Robinson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by P.
Robinson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Robinson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Robinson throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
P on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if P tries to get out of the position.
Robinson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Robinson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

and Robinson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in P's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
P is working an open guard so Robinson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
P closes the distance and clinches up with Robinson, looking for a takedown. P pushes Robinson against the cage but Robinson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well Robinson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
