Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cain Cormeir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krystof Mckay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cormeir comes to the cage accompanied by -N- The Bay. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cain Cormeir! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Krystof Mckay! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cormeir shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mckay napping and manages to drive through into side control! We've been hearing good reports from Cormeir's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Mckay tries to buck Cormeir off but Cormeir is having none of it. Mckay is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Mckay is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Mckay is looking to control Cormeir's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mckay avoid being mounted? Cormeir wants to pass the guard but Mckay is defending well. He's hooked one of Cormeir's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cormeir's back! Well, with Mckay on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Cormeir is tapping out... Cain Cormeir dominated that round. That's time! Cormeir's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Cormeir throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mckay tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Cormeir is in Mckay's guard. Mckay wants to sweep but no luck. Mckay looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Cormeir cracks Mckay with a solid left hand. Cormeir scoring with some ground and pound. Cain Cormeir overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Cormeir wants to control from the top but Mckay keeps moving. Cormeir stands up over Mckay, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cormeir engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Mckay looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cormeir is one step ahead there. Mckay is looking for a triangle but Cormeir pushes his legs off easily.

Mckay keeping moving, preventing Cormeir from controlling successfully. Cormeir has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Cormeir landing with the ground and pound. Mckay manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cormeir is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Mckay is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Cormeir wants to escape the position.

Cormeir loads up on a big left hand. Mckay felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Cormeir looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Mckay can't hide his disappointment, as Cormeir celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:29 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cain Cormeir! An out of breath Cain Cormeir thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career. The defeated Krystof Mckay had this to say: 'I believe it is time for myself to retire at the end of my contract'.
