0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jethro Rusted! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Keane takes the fight into the clinch. Keane changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rusted fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Keane has closed the distance and engaged Rusted in a clinch.

A looping hook to the body misses from Rusted. Keane does a little dance to reset his feet. Keane sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Keane has a takedown stuffed. Rusted tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Keane paws at him with a jab and circles away. Keane keeps the fight on the outside. Nice takedown defense from Rusted. This has been an exciting period of action! Rusted shoots in and drives through. Keane sprawls well. Rusted tries to close the distance and clinch up but Keane swats him away and circles back towards the center. Keane scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Jethro Rusted dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Rusted jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Keane walks away with a smile on his face. Rusted gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Keane fails in his attempt to clinch. A momentary lapse in concentration from Rusted enables Keane to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rusted manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Keane is looking to advance position but Rusted has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Rusted lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Rusted landing shots from mount. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Keane is bucking up trying to escape but Rusted cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Keane is trying to escape the mount.
Rusted stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. A head kick misses from Rusted. Rusted shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Keane as he jumps to the side. Keane shoots in but no luck this time. Keane gets a clinch. Rusted stalling in the clinch but Keane improves position. Rusted drags the fight down to the ground.
Keane pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rusted is keeping the position for now. Keane postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Rusted is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Keane, into his guard. Keane has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rusted can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rusted would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Keane is looking for a triangle but Rusted pushes his legs off easily.
Rusted trying to control but Keane is working from the bottom. Keane looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Rusted has picked Keane up and slammed him! Keane can't keep hold of the triangle and Rusted manages to pass to side control! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Keane tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rusted wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Keane is not content to let Rusted control the position. Keane tries to get back to half guard but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rusted stands up and beckons Keane to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Keane stuffs the takedown. Roy Keane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jethro Rusted. Keane gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rusted to score an easy takedown into full guard. Keane looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Keane looking for submissions from an awkward position here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
