Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bush throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Svensson was covering up waiting for the punch and Bush finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Bush's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Svensson is working an open guard so Bush takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Bush darts in looking for a takedown but Svensson gets double underhooks and turns Bush into the cage.
Bush gets underhooks to prevent Svensson's takedown attempt.
Svensson is trying to pull guard but Bush turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Svensson breaks from the clinch.
Svensson takes a swing at Bush's ribcage but misses.

Svensson lands a head kick. Bush smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Simon Bush has been cut.
Svensson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bush swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bush shoots in for a takedown but Svensson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Svensson moves in looking to clinch but Bush pushes him off.

Bush has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Svensson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
