Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Winfred Dillard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Andersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Winfred Dillard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hans Andersen!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Anthony Taglia and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andersen tries to close the distance and clinch but Dillard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Andersen fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dillard to the ground. Andersen is now in Dillard's guard.
Andersen controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Dillard escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Andersen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Dillard keeping moving, preventing Andersen from controlling successfully.
Dillard will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Andersen wants to get up but he can't break Dillard's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Dillard looking to hit a scissor sweep but Andersen is one step ahead there.

Dillard is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Andersen is aware though and is defending well.
Dillard throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Andersen engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Andersen's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Hans Andersen.
Andersen tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Dillard counters with a nice uppercut.
Hans Andersen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dillard with a poor takedown

and Andersen counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Andersen.
Dillard has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Andersen has passed into side control.
You can see the frustration on Dillard's face as Andersen controls the position.
Dillard tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Dillard is working to avoid the ground and pound but Andersen connects with a decent elbow.


Dillard is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Andersen decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Oh Dillard is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dillard is breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dillard gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Andersen points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Dillard wakes up just in time to hear Andersen thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hans Andersen!
