Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Best (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hades Destroyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Johnny Best!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hades Destroyer!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Best misses.

Best is looking to clinch but Destroyer is avoiding it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Best looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Best scores with a body shot.

Best fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Destroyer, pushing him back against the cage.

Best gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Destroyer regains guard.
Best trying to control the position from guard on top but Destroyer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Best stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Destroyer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Best slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Johnny Best wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Best closes the distance looking to clinch

and Destroyer counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Best is looking for a triangle here but Destroyer uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Best knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Destroyer on the ground.

Destroyer tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Best is stalling here. Destroyer is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Best seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Destroyer has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Destroyer decides to stand back up. Destroyer steps back and let's Best get back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Best throws a sloppy head kick and Destroyer moves out of range easily.

Best throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Destroyer sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Best fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Destroyer manages to avoid it.
Destroyer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Destroyer goes for a double leg but Best avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Best continues to drive forward.
Best can't get the takedown.
Destroyer wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Best is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Destroyer is defending well.
Best has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Destroyer is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Best goes for a takedown in the clinch but Destroyer prevents it.
Best has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Destroyer after a bit of a struggle.

Destroyer sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Best's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Johnny Best will probably get the nod.
That's time! Best's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Best drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Destroyer gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Destroyer is working for a kimura but Best is defending it quite comfortably.
Johnny Best overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Destroyer is looking to pass Best's guard but actually Best recovers to full guard.
Johnny Best is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Best not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Best utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Best throws his legs up looking for a submission but Destroyer uses it to pass to side control.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Johnny Best.
Well Best has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
