Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Erik Veloso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Pereira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Veloso comes to the cage accompanied by Sandstorm-durade. Erik Veloso looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Erik Veloso! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Daniel Pereira! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pereira fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Pereira shoots in and drives through. Veloso sprawls well. Veloso looks to land a right hand but Pereira moved out of range. Pereira rushes Veloso and presses him up against the cage. Veloso wants to break the clinch but can't.
Veloso tries to pull guard but Pereira holds him up against the cage and eventually Veloso drops back down to his feet.
Pereira looking for a takedown. Erik Veloso has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Pereira. Pereira wants to break free but Veloso has control.
A short body shot lands from Pereira as the two fighters clinch.
Pereira tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Veloso just stands there and leans against the cage. Pereira wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Veloso prevents the takedown attempt.
Pereira tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Veloso misses with a hook to the ribs.
Veloso escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Pereira clinches up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Veloso breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Pereira misses with an uppercut. Veloso closes the distance and clinches. Pereira pulls guard successfully.
Veloso trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Pereira looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Veloso postures up.
Veloso looking to pass the guard. Pereira is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Veloso rolls with it to try and escape but Pereira cranks on the arm and Veloso is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
