Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lauren Patton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patton pivots, looking for a leg kick but Jones is out of range and Patton settles back down.
Jones will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jones moves into range and clinches up with Patton.
Jones pulls guard effortlessly.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Patton throws a big right hand that misses.

Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Patton, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Patton against the cage but Patton circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Patton tries a head kick but it misses.

Patton bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jones's head backwards.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Patton jumps guard but Jones turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

That was a close round but I would say that Lauren Patton will probably get the nod.

Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Jones jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Patton walks away with a smile on his face. Jones gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lauren Patton will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
