Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Atsushi Murasakibara! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kaku Kema! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kema has a takedown stuffed. Murasakibara stuffs the takedown. Murasakibara darts in and clinches Kema up against the cage. Murasakibara jumps guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Kema wants to control from the top but Murasakibara keeps moving. Kema drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kema jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Murasakibara is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Kema looking to sit in guard and control but Murasakibara gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Murasakibara throws a big right hand that misses. Kema keeping moving, preventing Murasakibara from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Murasakibara loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Murasakibara looking to pass the guard. Murasakibara wants to control from the top but Kema keeps moving. Murasakibara has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Kema looking to control.

We're going to have a standup here because Atsushi Murasakibara wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Kema misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Murasakibara.
Murasakibara shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kema is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Murasakibara loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kema controls Murasakibara momentarily but Murasakibara frees himself. Murasakibara knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kema on the ground. Kema tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kema wants to control but Murasakibara passes easily into half guard.
Kema blocking the ground and pound attempt from Murasakibara. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kema moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Murasakibara passes Kema's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kema makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kema. Kema is looking to cinch up a triangle. Murasakibara throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Kema's body to avoid the submission. Kema has instead reached around Murasakibara's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Kema arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Kaku Kema! During a confident post fight interview, Kaku Kema thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
