The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myers shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Matsuda's guard.
Myers tries to free his leg and advance position but Matsuda is retaining full guard.

Myers drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Matsuda manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Myers has Matsuda in his guard.
