Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Otis B Driftwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Otis B Driftwood is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Otis B Driftwood!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Black staying calm.
Driftwood manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Black controlling the position for now.
Driftwood is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Driftwood trying to control from half guard but Black is working away.
Driftwood is looking to advance position but Black won't allow it.

Driftwood is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Black defends it well.
Black keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Black is not content to let Driftwood control the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Black tries to clinch but Driftwood moves out of range.
Black stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Driftwood with a poor takedown
and Black counters with a three punch combo that has Driftwood backing up. Driftwood nods at Black to acknowledge the strikes.

Black looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Driftwood looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Driftwood looks gassed!
Well, if Black is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Black is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Driftwood is looking to improve his position.

Black tries to pass to full mount but Driftwood defends it.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Black's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Black is looking to advance position but Driftwood won't allow it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Driftwood wants to get back to full guard but Black has mounted him!

Black controlling the position easily from mount.
Black is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Driftwood can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Driftwood uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Black.

Driftwood with a lazy takedown attempt
and Black counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Driftwood thinking.

Black throws a left that rocks Driftwood and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Black dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Driftwood regain composure!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Black tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Black has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Driftwood is still in real trouble! Can Black finish him?
Driftwood is breathing heavily.
Black stands up and beckons Driftwood to his feet.

A combination from Black does no damage.
Driftwood seems to have recovered his senses.
Black tries to clinch but Driftwood is having none of it.
Black keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Driftwood.
Driftwood has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Driftwood there as he acknowledges the shot.
Black misses with the combination.
Black throws a shot from downtown. Driftwood moves away and avoids it.
Black wants to clinch up but Driftwood keeps it at a distance.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Driftwood fails with the takedown
and Black makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Black is looking to clinch but Driftwood is avoiding it.
Driftwood throws a shot from downtown. Black moves away and avoids it.
Black swinging wilding here.
Black scores with a three punch combo!
Jab from Black.
Black throws a shot to the body.
Black misses with a jab, cross combination.

Left hook, right uppercut from Black.
Black lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Driftwood can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Black and Driftwood drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Black.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Black!
