Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pat Sumrall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blah Blah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blah has chosen Egg as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Pat Sumrall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Blah Blah! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sumrall looks to score with a jab to the body but Blah is just out of range. Blah shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Sumrall tries to clinch up. Sumrall swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Blah. Blah tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Sumrall wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Blah looks gassed! Blah prevents Sumrall from getting back to his feet. Blah is looking to advance position but Sumrall has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Sumrall prevents Blah from getting the reversal. Sumrall is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Blah has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Blah there as he acknowledges the shot. Sumrall tries to clinch up. Sumrall missing with a left hand there. Blah was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Sumrall connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Blah momentarily.
Sumrall is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A nice combination there by Sumrall.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Blah doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Sumrall tries to close the distance and clinch up but Blah swats him away and circles back towards the center. Sumrall is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Sumrall tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Wait, no, Sumrall rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Blah's guard! Nice work there by Sumrall! Sumrall trying to stand up but can't free himself from Blah's guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sumrall tries to clinch up. Pat Sumrall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Blah will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Blah shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sumrall as he avoids it easily. Blah avoids the body shot from Sumrall.
Sumrall looks to land a combination but Blah avoids it well. Pat Sumrall is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sumrall misses with a body kick. Sumrall connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Blah's hands. Sumrall lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Blah backs up against the cage.
Sumrall wants to clinch. Sumrall throws a right and a left that both miss. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Blah closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sumrall to the mat! Sumrall manages to get full guard. Sumrall keeping full guard, as Blah tries to pass. Blah drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sumrall looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sumrall looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sumrall! Sumrall decides to stand back up. Sumrall steps back and let's Blah get back to his feet. Sumrall misses with a jab, cross combination.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Sumrall keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Pat Sumrall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blah Blah. Sumrall ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Blah moves away. Blah defending well as Sumrall loads up on a big left hand. Sumrall throws a right and a left that Blah avoids nicely. Sumrall misses with an uppercut. Blah saw that one coming. The fighters circling - Sumrall throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Sumrall thows a left - swing and a miss! Blah bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Pat Sumrall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sumrall tries to clinch up. Sumrall misses the jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sumrall tries to bum rush Blah with a series of wild strikes but Blah uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Sumrall tries a head kick but it misses.
Sumrall gets caught flat footed, as Blah shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Blah drops back looking for a leg! Sumrall is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sumrall manages to kick Blah off! Blah jumps back into Sumrall's guard. Blah trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Sumrall is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Blah stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sumrall swivels though and keeps the full guard. Blah drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sumrall dives on top into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sumrall wants to stand but Blah is controlling his posture from full guard. Blah had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Sumrall is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Blah Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Sumrall's back instead. Sumrall is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Sumrall wants to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sumrall decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Sumrall throws a right hand that Blah ducks under and follows up with a left that Blah also avoids with ease. Sumrall fails with an attempt to clinch.
Blah avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Sumrall throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Blah. Sumrall missing with a left hand there. Blah was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Sumrall is looking to clinch but Blah is avoiding it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sumrall lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Blah slips under a jab. Blah fails to land the takedown. Blah takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Sumrall lands with a nice body punch. Blah keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sumrall. Blah uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sumrall.
Sumrall swings for the body but Blah moves out of range.
Nice defenses there by Blah. Blah shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sumrall but Sumrall pushes him off and we're back to square one. Pat Sumrall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blah Blah.
