Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jorge Cowlorra!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cowlorra dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Cowlorra misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cowlorra misses with a jab, cross combination.

Holt decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Holt seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cowlorra is trying to stand back up but Holt is controlling him

Cowlorra pushes Holt off looking to stand but Holt dives back in and keeps control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Greg Holt.

Cowlorra fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Cowlorra lunges at Holt with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Holt's hand.

It looks like Greg Holt has been cut.
Cowlorra rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Holt moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Holt counters with a left and a right that stings Cowlorra.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jorge Cowlorra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cowlorra will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Holt throws a head kick that Cowlorra semi-blocks.

Cowlorra just misses with a punch to the body.
Cowlorra tries to bum rush Holt with a series of wild strikes but Holt uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Cowlorra misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cowlorra throws a series of punches but Holt moves out of range.

Holt looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Holt looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Holt throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Well, if Holt is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Holt looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Cowlorra is trying to stand.
Holt is taking a breather. Cowlorra says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Greg Holt wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Holt gets a clinch.

Holt pulls guard effortlessly.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cowlorra trying to control the position from guard on top but Holt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cowlorra wants to stand and escape but instead Holt has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Greg Holt is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Cowlorra will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Cowlorra lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Holt circles away quickly and effectively.
Cowlorra rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Holt moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Holt closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Holt in particular looking to stall.
Holt seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Cowlorra for as long as he can get away with.

Cowlorra wants to get back to his feet.
Holt seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Cowlorra tries to kick Holt off in order to stand up. Holt Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Holt is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Cowlorra will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Cowlorra is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Holt has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Holt in side control, just content to control the action for now.

We're going to have a standup here because Greg Holt wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Holt moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Holt keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cowlorra throws a series of strikes that have Holt backpedaling.
A right-left combo lands from Cowlorra.
Cowlorra fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Cowlorra throws a right hand that Holt ducks under and follows up with a left that Holt also avoids with ease.
Cowlorra looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Cowlorra is breathing heavily.

Holt feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Holt seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cowlorra wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Holt manages to pass to side control.

Holt is controlling the pace.

Holt is trying for a kimura here. Cowlorra looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Holt wins by kimura!
