Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bj Apple (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Boucher Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bobby Boucher Jr told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bj Apple!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Boucher Jr!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boucher Jr ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Apple moves away.
Apple gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Boucher Jr counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Apple closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Boucher Jr to the mat! Boucher Jr manages to get full guard.
Apple looking to pass the guard.
Apple throws a strike but Boucher Jr rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Apple looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Apple throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Boucher Jr wants to stand but Apple has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Apple keeping moving, preventing Boucher Jr from controlling successfully.
Boucher Jr must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Boucher Jr is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Apple has a closed guard, preventing Boucher Jr from standing up.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Bobby Boucher Jr.
Boucher Jr leaves Apple with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Boucher Jr lands a nice looking body shot.
Boucher Jr throws a lazy right hand but Apple sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Apple.

Apple dives in and scores a takedown into Boucher Jr's guard.
Boucher Jr avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Apple wants to control from the top but Boucher Jr keeps moving.
Apple tries to free his leg and advance position but Boucher Jr is retaining full guard.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Bj Apple has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Apple shoots and misses
and Boucher Jr counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Apple shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Boucher Jr cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Apple has a takedown stuffed.
Boucher Jr scores with a body shot.
Boucher Jr lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Apple at a distance.
Apple fails with a takedown attempt.
Apple shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Boucher Jr pinned against the cage. Boucher Jr gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Apple is breathing heavily.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Boucher Jr scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Apple doesn't seem bothered though.
Boucher Jr is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Apple rather than just go for the knockout.

Apple fails with the takedown
and Boucher Jr counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Apple is rocked!

Boucher Jr drops Apple with a huge uppercut! Apple drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Boucher Jr is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
