Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Hale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Wakefield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hale's entrance music is Dead Sara - Weatherman. A fine choice. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brandon Hale! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dean Wakefield! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Lou da Vinci and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wakefield clobbers Hale with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Wakefield tries to bum rush Hale with a series of wild strikes but Hale uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Wakefield connects with a crisp jab. Hale misses with a head kick.
Hale punishes Wakefield's body with a nice straight punch. Wakefield misses with a looping right. Wakefield misses with a body punch
and Hale counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Wakefield throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hale sees it coming and avoids it easily. Hale throws a nice looking combination but Wakefield bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Hale lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Dean Wakefield has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! A slow jab from Wakefield misses its intended target. Nice straight punches there by Wakefield. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Wakefield. Hale throws a series of strikes that have Wakefield backpedaling.
Wakefield is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Wakefield is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hale. Wakefield misses with a straight left. Wakefield misses with an uppercut
and Hale makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Wakefield. Hale throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Wakefield on the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wakefield throws an off balance right hand
and Hale counters with a left and a right... And another left! Wakefield is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brandon Hale! Brandon Hale decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little. In defeat, Dean Wakefield stepped up to the mic, saying 'Respect to Brandon Hale, that was some fight!'.
