Crunch! Doolittle slams his shin into Schroeder's torso.
Doolittle throws the left hand but Schroeder avoids the punch easily.
Schroeder missing with a left hand there. Doolittle was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

We've been informed that Doolittle has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Schroeder takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Doolittle closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

I was talking to Schroeder's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Doolittle lands a big right hand that drops Schroeder! The killer instinct kicks in and Doolittle finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Doolittle!
