The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toushiro throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mcpherson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Toushiro is in Mcpherson's guard.
Toushiro forces his way into half guard.
Mcpherson is refusing to be controlled, as Toushiro sits in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Toushiro is working for a submission of some sort.
Toushiro wants to take a breather but Mcpherson is having none of it.
Mcpherson is trying to maintain the position but Toushiro is very close to passing his half guard.
