Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junji Kodama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Burt Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burt Reynolds will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kodama misses with a leg kick.
Kodama takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Reynolds tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kodama paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kodama throws a front kick aimed at Reynolds's knee but Reynolds avoids it well.
Kodama fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Reynolds manages to avoid it.
Kodama swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Reynolds counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Kodama walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Reynolds checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Kodama takes a jab right on the kisser.
Kodama misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Reynolds.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kodama. Reynolds does a little dance to reset his feet.
Reynolds looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Kodama avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kodama thows a body shot but no joy.
Kodama will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A cross from Reynolds lands.
It looks like Junji Kodama has been cut.
Kodama seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Reynolds misses with an uppercut. Kodama saw that one coming.

Kodama throws a body punch but Reynolds moves out of range.
Reynolds uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kodama.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Kodama has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kodama accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kodama is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Kodama has his feet on Reynolds's thighs here. He's pushed Reynolds off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Reynolds screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Junji Kodama spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
