The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamida throws a chopping leg kick but Danky manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
No joy there for Danky, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Danky throws a right and a left that Kamida avoids nicely.
Danky throws a looping overhand right but Kamida ducks down to avoid it.
Danky throws out a powerful jab.
Danky connects with a right hand. Kamida shakes it off.
Kamida throws a head kick but Danky moves out of range.

Danky closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kamida quickly recovers to half guard.
Kamida has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Danky is figuring out what he wants to do next.
My spies in The Beast inform me that Danky has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Danky seems to be working for a kimura but Kamida defends the submission attempt.

Well Danky has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
