These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berrian throws a sloppy head kick and Malone moves out of range easily.
Berrian throws a half hearted mid kick.
Berrian darts in and clinches Malone up against the cage.
Berrian taking a breather.
Berrian tightens his grip and picks Malone up, before dumping him to the ground. Malone manages to land in guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Malone keeping moving, preventing Berrian from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Malone has a closed guard, preventing Berrian from standing up.
Malone pulls Berrian in close to prevent any damage.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Berrian forces Malone back against the cage and clinches.
Malone goes for a takedown in the clinch but Berrian prevents it.
Berrian pulls guard effortlessly.
Berrian wants to sweep but no luck.
Berrian looking for a triangle here. Malone is fighting it but it looks tight! Berrian pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Malone is tapping out - this one is all over!
