Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Delmer Reeves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oliver Begtrup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oliver Begtrup will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Delmer Reeves! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Oliver Begtrup! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Begtrup is defended easily by Reeves. Reeves takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Reeves keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Begtrup closes the distance looking to clinch and Reeves counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Begtrup tries to clinch but Reeves moves out of range. Begtrup throws a head kick but Reeves moves out of range.
Reeves clinches with his opponent.
Begtrup working hard to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Begtrup tries to circle away but Reeves has him pinned against the cage. Begtrup pulls guard successfully.
Begtrup is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Begtrup is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Reeves is controlling him. Reeves working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Reeves controls from within his opponent's guard. Reeves stands up from Begtrup's guard - Reeves perhaps looking for a knockout. Begtrup shoots for a double leg takedown but Reeves sprawls well. He's pushed Begtrup's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Begtrup fails with the takedown and Reeves counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Begtrup! Delmer Reeves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oliver Begtrup.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Reeves throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Reeves wants to lay and pray for a moment but Begtrup keeps working. Begtrup managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Reeves.
Begtrup wants to control but Reeves postures up. Reeves lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Reeves working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Begtrup is not content to let Reeves control the position. Reeves scores with punches from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reeves in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. The referee asks Reeves politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Reeves prefers to stall for the moment though. Begtrup really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Reeves. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Begtrup takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Begtrup struggling a bit here. Begtrup on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Begtrup looks winded! Reeves is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Begtrup is trying to escape and Reeves transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Begtrup is forced to tap! Nice work there by Reeves! Very nice indeed!
