Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lester Wagstaff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Zimmerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zimmerman has chosen Bonecrusher- Neva Scared as his entrance music. Lester Wagstaff has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lester Wagstaff! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robert Zimmerman! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Kavanagh and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Wagstaff.
Wagstaff tries to clinch up. Zimmerman throws a leg kick but Wagstaff checks it. Wagstaff tries to close the distance and clinch but Zimmerman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Wagstaff wants to clinch up but Zimmerman keeps it at a distance. Wagstaff closes the distance and clinches. Wagstaff scores with a knee to the head.
It looks like Robert Zimmerman has been cut. Wagstaff using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Zimmerman has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Wagstaff is pressed up against the cage. Zimmerman has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wagstaff down to the mat. Wagstaff avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Wagstaff looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Wagstaff with a nice cross. Zimmerman slips a straight right by Wagstaff. Wagstaff throws a body kick that misses. Wagstaff pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lester Wagstaff is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wagstaff tries to clinch up. Wagstaff fails in his attempt to clinch. Wagstaff checks a low kick from Zimmerman. Wagstaff misses with a double jab.
Wagstaff tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Zimmerman paws at him with a jab and circles away. Wagstaff throws a head kick but Zimmerman moves out of range.

Wagstaff throws a sloppy head kick and Zimmerman moves out of range easily. Wagstaff tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Zimmerman paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Wagstaff tries to close the distance and clinch but Zimmerman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Zimmerman keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Wagstaff is breathing heavily. Wagstaff doesn't manage to clinch there - Zimmerman circles away.
Zimmerman drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Zimmerman slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Zimmerman is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Wagstaff has escaped the position, nice work there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wagstaff prevents Zimmerman from improving position. Zimmerman looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Zimmerman wants to control but Wagstaff is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zimmerman tries to move into full mount but can't pass Wagstaff's legs. Zimmerman has hold of Wagstaff's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Wagstaff seems comfortable defending it but Zimmerman has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Wagstaff is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Wagstaff is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Zimmerman couldn't care less - he's delighted!
