Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Genaro Jarvis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hank Steel will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Genaro Jarvis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hank Steel! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steel fails with an attempt to clinch.
Steel moves in looking to clinch but Jarvis pushes him off. Steel is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jarvis sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Steel wants to clinch and Jarvis counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Steel tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jarvis sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Steel somewhat. Steel fails to land the takedown. Genaro Jarvis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hank Steel. Steel closes the distance looking to clinch and Jarvis counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Steel misses with a takedown enabling Jarvis to counter with a crisp jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Horrible takedown by Jarvis or perhaps it was just good defense by Steel which made him look bad.

Steel closes the distance and clinches up with Jarvis, looking for a takedown. Steel pushes Jarvis against the cage but Jarvis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Steel has his takedown stuffed and Steel takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Steel gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jarvis counters with a straight right hand. Steel has a takedown stuffed. Steel looks winded! Jarvis shoots in for a takedown but Steel shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jarvis shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Steel but Steel pushes him off and we're back to square one. Steel is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jarvis. No luck for Steel with that takedown attempt. Jarvis gets a double leg takedown into Steel's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Steel is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jarvis is aware though and is defending well. Jarvis is working Steel over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Jarvis scoring with some ground and pound. Jarvis is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Jarvis drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jarvis jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Jarvis distracts Steel with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jarvis lands a couple of digs. Jarvis is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Jarvis cracks Steel with a solid left hand. Jarvis drops back looking for a leg! Steel is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Steel manages to kick Jarvis off! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jarvis drops back for a leg! Steel fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Jarvis fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Jarvis tries to clinch but Steel is having none of it. Jarvis wants to clinch up but Steel keeps it at a distance. Steel throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Jarvis.
It looks like Genaro Jarvis has been cut. No luck with that takedown attempt from Steel. Jarvis misses with a two punch combination.

That's one minute gone in the round. Steel keeps control of Jarvis as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Jarvis is trying to pull guard but Steel has him pressed against the cage. Steel pulls Jarvis into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Steel is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Jarvis scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Jarvis trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Jarvis drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Steel dives on top into guard. Jarvis controlling Steel's posture. Steel looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jarvis lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Steel! Jarvis is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Steel is surviving well by controlling Jarvis's body position as best he can. Genaro Jarvis overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jarvis is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Steel has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Steel! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jarvis pushes Steel off and scrambles back to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Genaro Jarvis will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Genaro Jarvis's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Steel shoots in for a takedown but Jarvis shows good takedown defense. The fight stays on the outside here - Jarvis looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jarvis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jarvis with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Steel utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Steel must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jarvis tries to strike from the bottom.

Hank Steel has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Genaro Jarvis is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jarvis trying to control but Steel postures up.
And that's the end of the fight! Genaro Jarvis showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jarvis, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
