The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nayr lands a jab to the head.
Santos lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nayr circles away quickly and effectively.
Nayr displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Santos walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Nayr clobbers Santos with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Santos looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Santos uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Nayr.
Nayr pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Santos moves out of range as Nayr strikes.
Nayr throws a hook but Santos avoids it easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Santos misses with a combination
and Nayr counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nayr misses with a series of wild punches.
Osvaldo Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nayr lands with a cross.
Nayr defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Santos.
Nayr lands a head shot.
Nayr has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Nayr avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Santos doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Santos throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nayr.

Nayr uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Santos throws a sloppy head kick and Nayr moves out of range easily.
Nayr slips under a jab from Santos.
Santos throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Santos throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Santos has taken the fight to the clinch.
Nayr lands with a light punch inside.
Oh Santos is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nice body punch from Nayr - that landed with a thud.
Santos is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Nayr breaks from the clinch.
Nayr lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Santos is looking to close the distance but Nayr sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Santos crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Santos is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
